He raised Himself and said to them, “He who is without sin among you, let Him throw the first stone at her.” - John 8:7The point isn’t that they were sinners, it’s that Christ wasn’t! He could have thrown the stone! He was basically saying, "Let me throw the first stone.", and indeed He did! The stone He threw wasn’t one of judgment, it was one of mercy and forgiveness! "Go, and sin no more." He told her.. "Look what I have done for you! Now go, and do this for Me because I have made you able!"Mercy doesn’t just spare a life, it spares in all things! A cup of water for the thirsty, food for the hungry, a jacket and a blanket for the cold, kind words to the heartbroken, love to everyone because everyone needs to be spared from hate! How much greater would it be if we learned what He was saying, the example that He gave us there, and lived by it?! "I AM WITHOUT SIN, LET ME JUDGE HER! Let Me judge them!", and He did! He decided, out of the great love that He has for us, that mercy is better than judgment and that to have mercy all we have to do is go, and be obedient! He spared us our sin! He spared us from judgment! And all He asked was, "Go, and sin no more. Look to Me because I am love, and hope, and peace, and salvation, and you will find rest in Me! Come to Me, turn away from the ways of the world and seek My truth; My yoke is easy, and burden is light! My teaching and commands are not difficult, and obeying them is simple."There is no sorrow, no pain, no heartache, trial or temptation, and no enemy that can stand against the children of light; those who truly love their God, and Creator, their Lord Jesus Christ and obey, because their God is mighty and their Lord is perfect! All of His ways are right!"I am without sin, let me judge them." He said, as He showed us that mercy is better than judgment.
